Terms and Conditions of the North London Business Hub

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions shall govern the relationship between the North London Business Hub (‘the Hub’) operated by Enfield Enterprise Agency, a Company Limited by Guarantee, trading as Enterprise Enfield, registered in England and Wales No. 01926939 at North London Business Hub, High Street, Southgate London N14 6BS (‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’), and its users (‘you’, ‘your’).

Registration Eligibility

Registration / Membership of the North London Business Hub is open to existing business owners and sole traders.

 Hub Membership Fees & Cancellations

  • Premium and Standard package membership fees are paid monthly by direct debit. Please see this website for details of the services available under each package.
  • North London Business Hub membership is a rolling contract.
  • If you are a member and wish to cancel your subscription at any time, please email us on info@northlondonbusinesshub.co.uk – giving 1 month’s notice from the date your payment is usually made. You will also need to inform your bank to stop the payments. If you cancel, please note, if you are using our mailing address for your business, you must remove this from any online sites or marketing materials where it may be displayed.
  • Hub membership is for one business only. Additional businesses require additional memberships.
  • We reserve the right to change the level of fees from time to time. For any changes to the fee, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.
  • All other fees and prices for the sale of goods at the Hub, rentals and any other services will be set by the Hub from time to time.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw, or make changes and corrections to our services at any time without notice.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your registration or your access without notice for any reason.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a request to register to become a North London Business Hub member.

Hub Usage Rules

    • You agree to observe normal courtesies to other users, members of staff, visitors to the building and all others whom you may encounter at the Hub.
    • Rudeness, abuse and/or violence or threats to any other person on the premises will not be tolerated.
    • If you have signed up to use the mailing address service, you must collect your post regularly on a Wednesday or Thursday between 9.30am – 4.30pm.  Please note this is to be used as a correspondence address only (which can be used on your business website; marketing literature, business cards etc) but should not be used as a registered business address with HMRC or Companies House. Please note we cannot accept packages.
    • If you have booked a business mentoring session and are unable to attend for any reason, please contact us on info@northlondonbusinesshub.co.uk, giving a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment.

Disclaimer

Enfield Enterprise Agency / North London Business Hub have neither control over, nor involvement in any Hub user business and accept no responsibility for any actions taken, or any goods or services provided, by any Hub member business to any other business or persons.

Complaints

We are committed to continuous service improvement.  However, should the service not meet your expectations, we would welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement on please email  info@northlondonbusinesshub.co.uk. We will respond to your email within 7 days.

Restriction of Liability

  • Our liability to compensate you for any loss or damage (in the case of loss or damage other than death or personal injury) is limited to a reasonable amount having regard to such factors as whether the damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us.
  • We accept liability for damage, accident, death, personal injury or other loss sustained by registered users, other users or guests on the Hub premises to the extent caused by its negligence or the negligence of its employees and agents (during the course of their employment and agency, as appropriate), unless that failure is attributable to:
    1. your own fault
    2. a third party unconnected with our provision of services under this agreement; or
    3. events which neither we nor our supplier could have foreseen or forestalled even if we had taken all reasonable care.
  • Any information and materials we supply to users are provided by us in good faith. We disclaim all responsibility and liability arising from any reliance placed on the content of such information. While we use reasonable endeavours to keep such information up to date and correct, neither we nor any third parties make any guarantee as to the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, completeness or suitability of the information or materials provided. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Health & Safety

Users must read all Health and Safety notices displayed in the Business Hub and comply with their recommendations.

In an evacuation there are 2 fire exits from the Hub: one is at the front entrance to Block B, one is at the back of the building at the other end of the corridor. In an event of a fire, the congregation point is on the grassed area right at the front of the college main reception. 

Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights:

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the content of any mailings, newsletters and other information we send you. Where trademarks of our partners are used in any content, they are used with the relevant partner’s permission, for the purpose of advising you of their services.

Please note that you cannot use logos without prior consent from Enterprise Enfield. You may not, except with our express written permission, commercially exploit the content.

Governing Law

The terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Your use of the Business Hub is subject to the laws of England and Wales and you and we agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim brought by you arising from your usage, although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions.

General

The terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the subject matter hereof.

Information About You

The North London Business Hub is managed by Enterprise Enfield, by registering as a Hub member, you consent to your details being added on the Enterprise Enfield database in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed online at https://www.northlondonbusinesshub.co.uk/privacy-policy. 

If you are registering for Standard or Premium Membership, you have the option to become a North London Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise (NLCCE) Associate Member. If you opt in the details which you submit on your application will be shared with NLCCE and stored on the NLCCE database. These details will be kept in accordance with the GDPR and NLCCE Privacy Policy which can be viewed on the NLCCE website here: https://nlcce.co.uk/privacy-policy/
